We offer Age Friendly Care, designed to improve the health of the senior population by addressing the physical, mental and emotional aspects of their care. Jefferson Lansdale Hospital is proudly recognized by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) as an Age Friendly Health System – Committed to Care Excellence. We are also accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department.

It starts with a complete geriatric assessment at the beginning of a hospital stay and continues with care by interdisciplinary, specially certified care teams, including nurses who are geriatric certified.
